Accra Girls Vocational Institute
The Accra Girls’ Vocational Institute was founded in june, 1973 by Madam Jemima Asiedua Boafo, the Proprietress.
1973 was an era when Ghanaians were migrating in droves to other neighbouring African countries to find work because there was little opportunity for them locally.
Madam Boafo seized the opportunity to establish Accra Girls’ Vocational Institute (AGIVOC)
