St Karol School of Nursing is fully accredited by the National Accreditation Board (NAB), the Nursing & Midwifery Council of Ghana and affiliated to Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. Our B.Sc. Nursing program encapsulates Medical-Surgical nursing, Paediatric Nursing, Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing, Mental health, Community/Public health and Geriatric Nursing. This is a customer-centric program that encompasses both liberal and professional education to improve decision-making skills, develop the analytical and creative skill for effective patients’ management. This course would equip you with the knowledge and skills to assess and manage the nursing protocol needs of patients. You will acquire clinical experience in primary care and bed-side nursing including specialist and intensive care areas during the placements under the supervision of experienced qualified nurses. Facilities available at St. Karol School of Nursing include:Top Class Faculty Modern Lecture Theatre Well Stocked Library Electronic Library with over 15000 Medical Books, Audios & Videos Computer Laboratory Well Equipped Skills Laboratory or Demonstration Ward / Theatre St. Karol School of Nursing campus is located at Aplaku, about 10 minutes drive off the Weija barrier on the Accra-Cape Coast Highway.

B.Sc. Nursing Program
SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL IN GENERAL SCIENCE AND ART WITH AGGREGATE 24 OR BETTER  A credit (C6) in all six subjects (English, Mathematics & Science) and 3Elective subjects

 St Karol School of Nursing is a tertiary co-educational institution offering internationally respected nursing degrees of world class standard, which incorporates bi-lingual ability and vehicle driving skills relevant for individuals wishing to prepare themselves for a fulfilling career in nursing. 

Our B.Sc. Nursing program has been designed to provide extensive practical hands-on experience and theoretical knowledge of nursing practice and administration. It also develops the student nurse and prepares them for future leadership in an ever changing healthcare system.
Admission Requirements-General Requirements
The general requirements for entry to Level 100 of the bachelor’s degree programmes are as follows: The Ghana Nursing & Midwifery Council selection criteria guide the selection and admission of candidates to the BSc Nursing program. Admissions Policy has no age limit for all candidates. Grades: WASSCE with a grade C6 in English, Mathematics, Social Studies or Integrated Science and 3 electives from General Science, General Arts or Home Economics. Candidates with Diploma (Nursing) qualifications may be admitted to level 200 or 300. The general criteria for admission must meet the standard as espoused by the National Council for tertiary Education, National Accreditation Board and the Ghana Nurses & Midwives Council, the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology as approved by the Academic Board. As part of the Admission Process all candidates seeking admission to St. Karol may be required to take an interview.The School would verify the authenticity of the results slips/ certificates submitted with the West Africa Examination Council together with testimonial of secondary schools.
